Dr. Icaro Bonyek is health biotechnologist. He is PhD in Pathology from the Faculty of Medicine of Bahia in conjunction with FIOCRUZ . Is professor of the Nursing course at Faculdade Santa Cruz-BA (FSC). Is technical manager of the Biology Laboratory at the Baiano Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology (IF BAIANO). He is also creator of the scientific dissemination page "obiotecnologista". Dr. Bonyek-Silva is collaborating researcher at the Laboratory of Parasite-Host Interaction and Epidemiology (LaIPHE) at FIOCRUZ, where he develops studies related to susceptibility to infections and difficulty in healing in patients with diabetes.
